Dear visitor, welcome to TRANSPARENCY project.
TRANSPARENCY is a European project co-financed under the scope of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) of the European Commission.
The vision of TRANSPARENCY is to enable European machine-tool builders to establish a knowledge-based collaboration with end users and component suppliers for machine tool design and operation. Ultimately, TRANSPARENCY allows involved actors to gain competitive advantages by permitting collaborative design and exchange of operational knowledge throughout the entire life cycle of the machine tool.

The project includes 12 participants from 6 European member states, out of which 7 are SMEs. They provide complementary knowledge and awareness of the challenges that have to be met to enable a significant enhancement of machine tool design and production for the benefit of the end users.
